While these instructions are specific for the V551 (V555, V505) series, they are pretty much the same for most Motorola cell phones (and most Bluetooth devices).  Remember, you have to TELL your phone you WANT it to use a Bluetooth device, you can't just turn one on and expect it to work.

• First go to Menu

• Then go the Settings

• Then Connections

• Then Bluetooth

• Then go to Setup

Turn the Bluetooth on. 

Go back to your phone, and Select HANDS FREE. 

Put the Bluetooth device in PAIRING MODE.  (On a Logitech, Push and HOLD the Multi-Access button   - KEEP HOLDING IT)

On the phone, go to HANDS FREE  (if you are not already there) and select it, then select LOOK FOR DEVICES.  It will find your Bluetooth now.  Select it. 

It will ask you would you like to bond?  Hit YES.  (bonding is good!)

Then it will ask you for a pin.  Your pin is 0000  and after that it will say completed (or done)

You have now successfully bonded your Bluetooth.  You may hang up now (by the way, you can let go of your Multi-Access button)

Congratulations!  You did it!

Remember, these are only general tips and hints, and are by no means complete instructions.  For complete instructions please read your instruction manual that comes with the Logitech headset.  This process will work for most Bluetooth devices and Motorola Cell Phones - your exact menu displays may differ a bit, but the general outline is the same.
