Motorola V180 Faceplates

This is a 3 piece full housing faceplate set which requires a T6 Torx screwdriver to remove and replace the middle section of the housing.* You may if you choose simply use the front faceplate and back battery cover which would require no special tools.
*when performing a full housing replacement professional installation is preferred to avoid damaging your phone - please consult your local cell phone shop for assistance

1. Using your fingernail, small flathead screwdriver or nail file lift the top of the original cell phone lens faceplate and gently pull it away from the cell phone as indicated by the arrows.

2. After removing the top section, you will see two screws which must be removed using Torx T6 screwdriver before installing the middle section of your new cell phone housing.*

*Note: If you wish only to use the standard no tool installation or wish only to modify the front lens faceplate and back battery cover, simply stop here and replace this portion of your faceplate with your new front section and lens- go to step 3 (separate the faceplate sections) then step 5 and 6 to install your new front faceplate

3. Remove the front section of your new faceplate housing by unsnapping it from the middle section of the new housing set to separate them and get them ready for installation.

4. Remove the front section of new faceplate set and set aside. Using T6 Screwdriver carefully remove your screws and set aside. Gently remove your original middle section and install the middle section of your new faceplate set over your cell phone. Replace your screws with your T6 screwdriver. Do not over tighten.

5. After installing the middle section, put the lens that comes with new faceplate set in place before installing the front piece.

6. Insert the tab at the bottom of the front piece into the bottom of the cell phone front flip and using your thumbs as a guide press along the sides of the lens as you press your new front faceplate into place.

Install the back battery cover as you normally would your back battery door.

Your full faceplate housing is now complete.
